Who is AJD Appliances?
AJD Appliances is the online section of a much larger appliance company called Construction Appliance Supply.  Based in St. Louis, Missouri we feature two beautiful showrooms that have live cooking demonstrations at the ready.  Our online store is proud to carry all of the magnificent lines of appliances that our local stores do with the luxury of not having to leave your own home!!

What do I do if I can't locate a product on your website?
AJD Appliances is constantly updating and changing its product line to stay at the forefront of the appliance industry.  We do this as a benefit to our customers so you can always have the top of the line products as soon as they become available.  Due to this proactive stance we have thousands of products that may not be listed on our web site. Do you offer installation?
At this time we are in the process of getting on board with several appliance installation companies.  We are putting them “through the wringer”, as you might say.  We are going to be offering installation in the very near future, however, we need to ensure that we only have the very best there is to offer installing our products. Delivery


How much is delivery and how do you figure out how much to charge?

  AJD Appliances offers a simple way of determining the cost of delivery using our “Flat Rate Shipping option” option. Delivery charges are determined by total weight and the method the product is shipped.  The cost of each item is set to be extremely competitive with the shipping market today.  We pride ourselves in being able to go head to head with any other company on the net today.  If you have any shipping questions or concerns please feel free to contact AJD Appliances at 1-800-281-6611 and we will be happy to discuss this further with you.

What are your delivery options?

AJD Appliances transports our customer’s products utilizing the quickest, most economical and secure methods possible. W have gone through several different shipping companies to determine who does the best job with not only delivery but customer service as well.  AJD Appliances strongly feels that we are using the best shipping companies we can find.  Here are the three shipping methods that we use: 

 

 

1.     UPS  - For most of our smaller items such as microwaves, dishwashers and range hoods.  Unless otherwise stated these products are shipped ground and usually take around 2-3 weeks to arrive at your home from the time the order is placed.

**Note**  For Express item deliveries you will need to call our office to make sure that the item you are inquiring about is available for this feature.  Again, you can reach us at our office by dialing 1-800-281-6611. 

 

2.     Freight Carrier - Our larger items such as ranges, refrigerators, ovens and other large items require freight shipment.  We use only the best when it comes to shipping our freight.  We have literally been through dozens of shipping companies in order to get down to one company that does a great job, day in and day out.  Most orders arrive at our customer's homes between 2-3 weeks from the time the order is purchased.

 

3.     Local Deliveries -A local delivery is any shipment made within a specific radius of our office location (1626 Headland Drive, Fenton, MO 63026). This is generally a 30 mile radius from our store location.  Call our office at 1-800-281-6611 to see about local delivery options.

Our local deliveries usually arrive within 2 weeks, if you need your appliance sooner please call our sales department at 1-800-281-6611 and we will do everything possible to accommodate you.  Local deliveries are placed in the customer's garage or on the front porch wher no stairs are involved.  If you need your item carried up additional flights of stairs please call our sales department at 1-800-281-6611 to receive a quote. There is no additional charge if your building has an elevator. When will the product ship?

Most of our orders arrive at our customer’s homes between 2-3 weeks from the time the order is placed.       

For shipping at a later date, AJD Appliances offers you the option of choosing your delivery date. If you need your appliance delivered sooner than the times stated above, please contact a sales representative at 1-800-281-6611 and they will do their best to accommodate your request.

**Note** Shipment times listed above assume that the item ordered is currently in stock. Items out of stock are subject to a later shipping time.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Our shipping company at this time will not allow us to ship outside of the continental US.  We are working on changing this in the very near future.  Please check back soon for exciting new changes and updates with this section.

AJD Appliances has several rebates that we offer on our products.  Some are exclusive to our company and some are direct from the manufacturer.  Now is a great time to take advantage of our rebates on most of the beautiful lines that we carry.

Do you match competitor's prices?
Yes, AJD Appliances will match any authorized dealer’s price!
If you can find a lower price (including shipping, handling and delivery) on an identical branded item with the same features currently available for sale and delivery from an authorized dealer, contact AJD Appliances with the competitor’s information and we will match, and in most cases beat, that total price.

When contacting AJD Appliances at 1-800-281-6611 or emailing info@ajdappliances.com  you must provide all information, including shipping, handling and delivery date. AJD Appliances reserves the right to require that a quote of a lower price from an authorized dealer be sent to us in writing.

Exclusions
AJD Appliances will not match competitors' bonus or free offers, special offers, rebates, financing offers, clearance or closeout prices, or prices on used, damaged, returned, open box or display merchandise, service contracts, or installation, delivery, or assembly services. AJD Appliances will not match competitors' prices that result from a price match. AJD Appliances Price Match Policy does not apply to parts or accessories, AJD Appliances licensed partner websites or digital services.  AJD Appliances reserves the right to revoke this policy at any time.

Are your products under warranty?
Yes, AJD Appliances is an authorized dealer and as an AJD Appliances customer you are protected. All of our products are new (unless otherwise stated: ie; The Bargain Bin section).  All of our products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Most of the manufacturers cover up to one full year parts and labor and a great deal more offer an extended warranty. AJD Appliances also offers extended warranty options. What is your return policy?
If your product is delivered, via a truck line, ensure that you inspect the shipment while the shipper is there. Do not sign for the product until you have inspected it thoroughly. If you notice any damage refuse the order and contact us immediately at 1-800-281-6611 and we will rush another to you absolutely free of charge! If it is a smaller piece that we send via UPS please call UPS to start a claim then contact our office for a replacement at info@ajdappliances.com.

Damaged Shipments
All of our shipments are 100% insured. It is very important to inspect your product thoroughly before accepting and signing for your merchandise. Though your box and packaging may appear intact, it is still possible that your product may be damaged. Check for both internal and external damage before accepting delivery. If you notice damage to the product, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. Please call our customer service department immediately at 1-800-281-6611 and we will issue a return authorization (RA) number. If damage issues arise after signing for the merchandise, you are responsible for filing all claims with the shipper. Therefore a thorough inspection of all packages is important before signing. If your item was shipped via UPS, call AJD Appliances at 1-800-281-6611 with your tracking number to report a damaged item.

Defective Merchandise
Most products that we carry include a full warranty of at least one year. If you receive an item that is defective upon delivery and is not due to shipping damages please contact customer support at 1-800-281-6611 within 48 hours of receipt. If your item is defective after the first use please contact the manufacturer directly. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product literature.

It is equally important to know the correct voltage of the outlet that you will be using before purchase. If you receive merchandise that does not meet your needs please call our customer service department at 1-800-281-6611 within 48 hours of receipt. Please remember that shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable and all returns are subject to a 18% restocking fee. We do not accept any returns on air conditioners or special order merchandise. Returned products must be in brand new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which you received them. Any product that has been installed or has attempted to be installed may not be returned.

General Return Notes and Policies

  • In the event of a return, you must contact customer service receive a return merchandise authorization number (RA).
  • You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your merchandise if your product is damaged or does not meet your needs.
  • After signing for and accepting your merchandise, you are responsible for all damage claims.
  • AJD Appliances reserves the right to refuse all returns.
  • All returns are subject to a 18% restocking fee.
  • Returned products will not be accepted unless they are in brand new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which you received them.
  • Shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable.
  • We do not accept returns on air conditioners and some specially ordered products due to customer error. Please be sure to read all specifications regarding merchandise before purchase and call us with any questions or concerns prior to placing your order.

Customer agrees to the terms published when they place a completed order with our company. Customer authorizes their credit card company abide by these terms. Please keep in mind that AJD Appliances reserves the right to cancel orders at anytime.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes. If you cancel your order before the item ships you will not be charged. If you cancel your order after your item has shipped you are subject to an 18% restocking fee and the full shipping charge.  Please keep in mind that AJD Appliances reserves the right to void this policy at any time.
